I have gained invaluable skills, knowledge and artistic growth working with artists Meredith Broberg, Julia Rogoff, Lynn Peterfreund, Liz Chalfin and Louise Kohrman. I am deeply grateful to these talented and generous women and friends, who have helped me so much in my growth as an artist. Also invaluable, and deeply relevant to my art, is the vast body of knowledge I've gained from my 3-decades-plus research career investigating how the mind grasps the world — how we perceive it and how we impose structure & meaning upon it to create our understanding of the natural, physical, social, and psychological worlds we inhabit.
