Kinetic Residues
Each is an indexical record of the passage of one or more filaments laid in a curved path over an inked surface, pressed against that surface and then pulled across it under pressure and tension. The friction between filament and ink, the ink’s viscosity, and the hand's velocity, angle and curvilinear path of pull create the determinative physics.
